At the tender age of thirteen, Madi started her business ambitions and bred Ragdoll cats, she owns three Ragdoll's Star, Mars and Ginger and two girls had two litters of kittens each, not wanting to over-breed her beloved cats, she did the responsible thing and had them de-sexed
Madi is nineteen years old now, and when she was 17 after completing a Certificate III in Business and Year 12 at Maroochydore State High School, she did a Dog Grooming Diploma and opened Madi’s Paws the Professional Pet Groomer
The business was such a success, she quickly realised she needed to expanded and started training other young people how to dog groom, offering customers half price dog grooms and trainee's the opportunity to have a personal mentor during their groom and double the time to complete ~ which was a win, win for everyone!
Madi has two breeding dogs a Mini - Dachshund Bella and a Golden Retriever Luna, both purebred which she breeds, check our Pets for Sale
This inspiring young lady has now passed the training baton to her qualified team

Youth today has a bad reputation, and we don't want to tar all youth with the same brush, there are many amazing young people in our community
Here at Madi's Paws we are trying to change the reputation of young people through our business
Our staff are all studying at school or University and work on a casual basis to fit-in with their other schedules
Although they are young team, they have a lot of experience and knowledge through the practical training and experience along with the theory and assessments to gain their Dog Grooming Diploma
All our qualified groomers are trained in - house, and have a Dog Grooming Diploma
We only groom pets, NO show dogs
Our team all have other passion's outside of grooming, including loves of music, horses, farming, musical theatre, dance, books and sports

Madi’s Paws is an ergonomic business, and we like to recycle whatever we can, saving and helping our environment and world
Your pet’s fur has many uses, please try to put the hair we give you to good use
Use in your garden / pot plants ~ Pet fur contains a lot of nitrogen, an important nutrient for growing plants, use it to fertilise your soil
Nitrogen helps the ground retain moisture and regulate plant temperature
Give this fur to the birds ~ Every bird loves a cosy nest. each springtime, birds construct new nests and need quality insulation, leave this fur on the tops of bushes for them
Oil spills ~ The University of Technology, Sydney found that pet fur can be just as good as synthetic fabrics at cleaning up oil spills on driveways and sealed concrete garage floor

The simple scheduled's are:
$11 a week for small breeds
$13 a week for medium breeds
This is based on an 8 week schedule, making nothing to pay when your groom comes around
